Allograft Bone | tissues and transplants | Tissue Transplant

Alamo Tissue Service follows stringent guidelines to preserve allografts for their intended function. But we don’t limit ourselves to common, outdated processing techniques. Instead, we’ve pioneered a better way to process allograft tissue.

A safer, better way to sterilize tissue grafts

At Alamo Tissue Service, gamma irradiation is used to sterilize reconstructive tissues, which are durable enough to withstand such a procedure. However, unlike most allograft companies, we do not irradiate connective tissue. Instead, we sterilize soft allograft tissue with our exclusive, revolutionary PASCO2® Technology, which removes blood particles and lipids from tissue without compromising mechanical integrity.

You can read more about PASCO2® processing technology here.

One donor can enhance the lives of more than 50 people

Extreme care is taken to show appreciation for our donors and to maximize the benefit for tissue transplant recipients. And it is the policy of Alamo Tissue Service to make every effort to return processed tissue to the community where the donation was made. One donor can enhance the lives of more than 50 people, many of them close to home.
